“Be shameless”: Akash Banerjee

A fun event by Akash Banerjee on being shameless and doing things the right way.

Jaipur, 21 September 2019 – The second day of Talk Journalism witnessed a session by Akash Banerjee, who is widely known for his Youtube channel “The Desh Bhakt”, which focuses on political satire. The session started with him sharing the audience about his journey of getting successful and how the road to success was not a piece of cake for him. In fact, he emphasized on being shameless in order to achieve great heights in life. “I was always a black sheep”, said Akash. 

Focusing on the evolution of digital media, he said that it is very important to find a niche audience, one needs to be very passionate about their idea, and never stop learning. It was an interactive session where he also asked young aspirants about what makes their CV stand out when they send it to companies for hiring them. Here, he also emphasised on the significance of having the correct skillset and mastering them. He further expressed, “The problem with today’s generation is that they don’t do something which is of their interest.”

The session ended on a thoughtful note with Banerjee informing the audience about not waiting for any kind of validation from anyone. “You should do something you enjoy and pursue that with clarity of thoughts. Also, do not to forget to be shameless,” he signed off.
